Hi, this is indeed a sensitive topic. For us, we arranged for a family gathering so that all the siblings could give their views and we staged it more like a free-sharing discussion. We wanted to make clear to our parents that the discussion was borne of love and concern for them, and it would ultimately be their decision (no pressure). We also shared examples of family and their friends who have done a LPOA. Our parents are sensible people after all and they told my brother that they decided to proceed several days later.
